We currently have a temporary, full time opening for an Document Coordinator at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Burnaby, British Columbia. Provides project support for corporate and field initiatives by researching, implementing and influencing to ensure a successful program execution. Understands and contributes to Operations Management objectives by adapting and improving processes and tasks associated with daily work functions. Provides support to the Operations Group as well as Records Reconciliation Team via detailed property records research, financial and statistical analysis and other property records analysis as needed.


Project Support

  • Perform detailed review of property records with location to determine scope and reconciliation efforts

  • Utilize superior attention to detail to identify variances in location records including ownership, dates and transfers

  • Self-motivated, personal accountability for staying on track with or updating target goals as defined by the project

  • Maintains and provide data & statistics to Reconciliation Specialist for project analysis

  • Exercises good judgement and escalates questions/concerns as appropriate to maintain efficient workflow between Field locations, HMIS team, mapping staff etc.

  • Assist with property verification walks with location maintenance representative

  • Thoroughly and accurately provide context for reconciliation of records, systems and property verification walks

  • Work with the Maps Team to ensure updates are correct and correctly linked in HMIS

  • Assists in defining and creating improvement solutions to existing funeral and cemetery processes as well as corporate driven policies and procedures related to field operations

  • Researches and provides data analysis related to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of corporate and field initiatives.

  • Works with group leadership to complete high priority projects and interacts with other corporate departments to manage data flow and deadlines.

  • Manage ad hoc reporting requests and identify reporting process improvements

Requirements & Qualifications / Exigences et qualifications

Education :

High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree a Plus

Long term travel is expected. Up to 100% travel.
